Workpackage 2

Description

Within the workpackage 2 (WP2 involving project partners 1, 2, 7) the molecular mechanisms involved in host-pathogen interaction, pathogenicity and virulence of Staphylococcus aureus/MRSA from animals and humans are analyzed. Moreover, factors enabling bacteria to overcome the species barrier are determined.
