Description

In this project we investigate the transmission of MRSA from food to humans. This will be done by analysing the following questions:

  1. What is the risk of cross contamination of food, people and equipment with MRSA in the kitchen environment?
  2. What is the risk of colonization with MRSA after ingestion of contaminated food?
  3. What is the overall risk of colonization of people with MRSA entering the kitchen through food?
